How it works
Four steps between your holdings and your morning coffee.
- 01
Add a portfolio
Start a practice portfolio with $100,000 in paper money, or record the stocks and funds you really own. Either way it stays private to you.
- 02
Overnight, the desk gathers facts
Before the market opens, the system collects the latest prices, news and upcoming earnings dates for every stock held by anyone on Portfolio Desk.
- 03
The AI writes a sourced note per company
Each stock gets one short note a day, with links back to where each claim came from. The same note is shared with everyone who holds that stock.
- 04
You get one personal briefing
The notes are assembled into your briefing: what changed overnight, how concentrated your portfolio is, a stance on each holding, and what to watch at the open.
The four stances
A general stance, never a personalised recommendation.
- Hold
- Nothing material changed; the case is intact.
- Consider adding
- New information strengthens the case relative to the price.
- Consider trimming
- The position has grown outsized, or the case has weakened.
- Review
- Something happened that you should read about yourself today.
Stances describe the company, not your situation. Portfolio Desk does not know your income, taxes or goals, and it will never place a trade for you. Every stance is recorded and later scored on the public scoreboard.
